Pengalaman Pasien Dengan Covid-19

Abstract

Background. Pandemi COVID-19 di tahun 2020 menjadi pengalaman yang mengerikan bagi banyak orang. Tingkat penularan yang tinggi, disertai dengan angka kematian yang tinggi menimbulkan situasi yang mencekam, tidak hanya di Indonesia, tapi juga di seluruh dunia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengekplorasi pengalaman pasien dengan COVID-19, khususnya mereka yang terkonfirmasi positif pada gelombang awal pandemic.

 

Methods. Metode kualitatif dengan desain fenomenologi digunakan dalam penelitian ini, dengan wawancara mendalam digunakan dalam proses pengambilan data, dan teknik purposive sampling digunakan untuk perekrutan partisipan. Data telah tersaturasi pada wawancara ke enam, namun wawancara dilanjutkan hingga diperoleh transkrip data 14 partisipan yang dianalisis menggunakan metode tematik analisis.

 

Results. Empat tema ditemukan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu 1) Gangguan fisik, 2) Pengalaman psikologis, 3) Dukungan sosial, dan 4) Pengelaman spiritual, dengan 9 subtema dan 27 pernyataan signifikan.

 

Conclusion. Pengalaman para partisipan menjadi pelajaran yang berharga untuk menghadapi kondisi serupa di kemudian hari. Peran setiap orang menjadi penting dalam proses pencegahan dan penanganan pandemic.
